The Parents’ Teachers’ Association of VVM’s Ramacrisna Madeva Salgaocar Higher Secondary School, Margao, convened its Annual General Body Meeting on 5th July 2025 at the Ganesh Daivajna Auditorium, Kare College of Law. The gathering was honored by the presence of Shri Manoj B. Sawaikar, Deputy Director of Education (Planning), who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, Shri Sawaikar shared insightful perspectives on the pivotal role of effective parenting in shaping young minds. The event also featured an impactful talk on Mental Health, delivered by Miss Miriam Sequeira, a counselor from Sangath.
A highlight of the meeting was the recognition of meritorious students who had excelled in the Goa Board XII HSSC Examination, with awards presented in acknowledgment of their hard work and achievement. The PTA also took the opportunity to honor Mr. Prakash Borker, the esteemed former Library Attendant, on the occasion of his superannuation, with a heartfelt tribute presented by the Chief Guest.
