To motivate students to make effective use of the library and its services, VVM has introduced a cash prize of ₹1000/- as the Best Library User Award from the academic year 2024-25. Every year this award is awarded on the occasion of National Librarian`s Day.
The following criteria will be used to select the award recipient:
- Number of books read by the students (beyond the textbook).
- The student should write a book review for each book read.
- Timely return of borrowed books.
- Number of visits to the library for reading newspapers & magazines.
- Participation in all library related activities.
